Extreme Animal Hoarding In Newaygo County


Hoarding CaseAnimal ControlLake Haven Rescue is working with the Newaygo County Animal Shelter to rescue dogs seized in a horrific animal hoarding case. We are working as fast as we possibly can to rescue these dogs.

  3. Foster one or more of these rescued dogs, just fill out our volunteer form.

WXXM13HoardingNEWAYGO, Mich. (WZZM) - Newaygo County Animal Control says it recently raided a house belonging to a woman who was hoarding 85 animals, mostly dogs.

While many of the dogs had to be euthanized, several of them have spent the past two weeks recovering at an animal rescue facility, and are now ready to be adopted out to stable homes...

HoardingWood TV8NEWAYGO, Mich. (WOOD) - Candace Shepard-Younce's house near Howard City was full of dogs. She was allowed to keep about 20 German Sheperds on her property after animal control recently rescued over 80 German Shepherds and Chihuauas and four cats.
