Cat Room Laundry Volunteer -

There is an opportunity for a volunteer to do laundry once a month to once a week. This would involve picking up used bedding, towels and mats; washing them at home with color safe bleach or vinegar (to disinfect), warm water, and laundry detergent; then bringing them back to PetSmart for use. This is a very important role to help keep the cat room sanitary.

Requirements: Lake Haven volunteers must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by an adult volunteer. We are flexible on laundry frequency anywhere from once a month to once a week, and will set up a schedule with you after being trained on how to properly perform laundry services. Transportation to and from the Grandville PetSmart is required. Laundry supplies will be provided.

Lake Haven is run by the kindness, hard work and dedication of its nearly 100 volunteers.  Volunteering is a great way to earn class credit, add a skill to your resume, build character and give back to the community.  We are always looking for the right volunteers to perform a variety of tasks.  If you are interested in any of our volunteer opportunities, please fill out our volunteer form at www.lakehavenrescue.org/volunteer.
